Secure Permanent Residency Through Canada’s Agriculture & Food Industry
The Agri-Food Immigration Pilot is designed to help address the labor needs of Canada’s agriculture and food processing sectors. This program offers a pathway to permanent residency for eligible foreign workers already working in specific agri-food jobs in Canada.
✅ Who Is Eligible?
You may qualify if you:
Have at least 1 year of non-seasonal, full-time work experience in an eligible occupation under the agri-food sector in Canada
Hold a valid job offer from a Canadian employer in an eligible industry
Meet language (CLB 4), education, and settlement fund requirements
Plan to live outside of Quebec
🌾 Eligible Industries:
Meat product manufacturing
Greenhouse, nursery, and floriculture production
Animal production (excluding aquaculture)
👷 Eligible Occupations Include:
General farm workers
Harvesting laborers
Industrial butchers and meat cutters
Food processing laborers
Farm supervisors and specialized livestock workers
